Angus Hudson

Angus Hudson

Angus joined Sworders in 1987 and became a partner in 1989 before becoming principal of the firm in 1997. From a Northamptonshire farming background he previously worked for a national farm management company having graduated from Nottingham University with a degree in agriculture.
Clare Hutchinson

Clare Hutchinson

BSc (Hons) MA MRICS
Clare joined Sworders in 2003 and became an Associate in 2004. Clare previously worked in London for DTZ where she specialised in Development Consultancy for a range of private and public sector clients. Clare qualified as a Chartered Surveyor after studying for a postgraduate degree in Land Economy at Cambridge and an undergraduate degree in Geography from Durham.
Richard Couling

Richard Joined Sworders in 2004 after graduating from Harper Adams University College with a degree in Rural Enterprise & Land Management and working as an assistant surveyor in the rural department of a regional firm of chartered surveyors. Richard completed his professional exams and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 2005.
Martin Ranner

Martin Ranner

Martin joined Sworders in 2007. He previously worked as a Planning Officer to Principal level at both East Hertfordshire and Uttlesford District Councils where he worked on a wide variety of planning schemes. Martin has a degree in Town Planning and a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Planning and is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

James joined Sworders in 2005 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2007. Prior to joining Sworders he completed a degree in Rural Estate Management at Seale Hayne Plymouth University.
Rachel Padfield

Rachel Padfield

BSc (Hons), MA, MRICS
Rachel joined Sworders in summer 2008 having previously worked in London for ING Real Estate as an asset manager specialising in commercial investment property. Rachel qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2007 after obtaining a Masters degree in Property Valuation and Law at City University and an undergraduate degree in Geography from Exeter.
Camilla Smyllie

Camilla joined Sworders in Autumn 2006 as a graduate having completed an MSc in Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. Camilla's first degree was a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science from Bristol University. She qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2008.
Lynsey Maloy

Lynsey Maloy

Lynsey joined in 2005 as Sworders' CAD technician. She graduated from London Guildhall University with a degree in Interior Design and Technology in 2002 and subsequently worked as a designer in the events and hospitality industry.
Katy Griffiths

Katy joined Sworders in 2005 to manage the accounts. As well as a degree in Business Studies Katy passed the Association of Taxation Technicians exams in 1997. Prior to joining Sworders she worked as a freelance accounts manager.
Heidi Venn

Heidi Venn

Heidi joined Sworders as a graduate in 2008 following the completion of an MSc in Rural Estate Management from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. Heidi’s first degree was a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
Mark joined Sworders in Spring 2007 and was brought up in the area. He went to school at Freeman College, Buntingford and following his A levels worked on local Farms before deciding to embark on the Postal Diploma in Surveying (Rural Practice) through the College of Estate Management at Reading.
